Lambert’s Liberation on Rolling Stone cover

Adam Lambert … of American Idol fame, unless you’ve been living under a rock … recently graced the cover of iconic music rag Rolling Stone. I gotta say, with last month’s crazy-sexy Lady Gaga cover and this week’s Lambert “Liberation” cover … I have re-grown faith in this magazine. Lately, it’s been a fucking bore and I’m grateful the music magazine is getting edgy and interesting again …

Nevertheless, Lambert comes out as a homosexual in this issue … as if that’s a huge shocker … but, I think it’s pretty damn cool to “come out” in Rolling Stone opposed to People like Clay Aiken and Lance Bass. This kind of gives him a little more credibility in my opinion.

It may be a little pre-mature to have Lambert on the cover … since he hasn’t had an album yet … however, he’s been one of the most talked about contestants on this show out of all the seasons. Come to think of it, I don’t even think Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood have graced the cover of this magazine!?!

I’m a little fed-up with the whole American Idol phenom, but I’m excited to see an openly gay person come out of that show and become a role model (even if he doesn’t want to be, he kinda is) for this generation. I’m still a little pissed he lost, the show is totally rigged and here’s why … They knew if Lambert won that Kris Allen wouldn’t sell as many albums, therefore, they shoved Lambert to second place (they knew he would do well even if he was the runner-up) and gave Allen the title so they could plaster that on all his CD’s and sell millions, fuckers … Alright, that’s all I’m gonna say about that.

Personally, I think he’s coming into his own and this cover is a great start … All he needs now is to be mocked on Saturday Night Live and he’ll be a star … Oh, and watch the videos on Rolling Stone’s Web site … it’s really entertaining!

Clay was the first Idol to grace the cover of Rolling Stone in 2003 but Clay had a #1 hit single at the time and Claymania was just taking off.

The only other one to get a RS cover was Ruben but RS wasn’t very nice to him. Maybe AI made them do it so they could get Clay.

I forgot about that! AI has totally taken over the media with pple who don’t deserve it (yet) … so sad, since Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are the only ones who got the most off the show music-wise.
