Emile Hirsch

Emile Hirsch

I’ve got a feeling I’m not the only one in awe of Emile Hirsch’s raw talent in movies … He’s broken through with amazing performances in two brilliant biopics and has been tons of fun to watch in mainstream and independent flicks alike. The Best Picture race is not all that unusual…the intense drama flicks and political movies raid the category. It is really not that hard to predict that Slumdog Millionaire will win. They have won everything and they are the total underdogs! The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a very strange movie, it’s not the typical drama that get’s nominated and the Academy likes different. Frost/Nixon and Milk are both very strong political movies and The Reader involves Nazi’s…so, of course they will get nominated. All the other movies are great, but Slumdog Millionaire came from the bottom and rose to the top.
